About ICoSAR
ICoSAR is an annual international conference organized by Coastal and Marine Research Center and Halal Thoyib Science Center, Brawijaya University. ICoSAR stands for International Conference on Sustainable Aquatic Resources. It provides a platform to exchange knowledge regarding development of aquatic food resources and marine ecosystems through sustainable fisheries and aquaculture.
ICoSAR 2019 will focus on the theme: “Increasing OHI (Ocean Health Index) Through Sustainable Aquatic-Food Resources Utilization” with a focus on halal and Seafood. This topic is particularly important and necessary to deal with global issues, where sustainable aquatic resources plays a significant role in raising OHI; consequently, it can improve availability of halal assurance and seafood security. The sub-theme of ICoSAR 2019 consists of 1) Halal Management and Food Science, 2) Seafood Safety, Processing and Engineering, 3) Aquatic Biodiversity, Biology and Conservation, 4) Aquaculture Sustainability, 5) Aquatic Biotechnology and Pharmacy, and 6) Fisheries of Social Economy, Law and Development Policy, and 7) Oceanic and Aquatic Engineering.
The aim of this program is to present how science and new ideas can provide the best possible solutions to address challenges of food halal deriving from sustainable aquatic resources, and evolving challenges which are evolving challenges which are essential for ocean ecosystem balance and sustainability of benefits we earn from ocean-based economies such as fisheries and aquaculture.
ICoSAR 2019 will be held on August 27th – 28th, 2019 in Sahid Montana II, Malang, East Java, Indonesia. On behalf of the organizing committee, it is our great pleasure and honor to extend to you a warm invitation to attend ICoSAR 2019, please sumbit your abstracts for oral and poster presentation during the conference to share your achievements.

Call for Papers
The conference invites scientists, researchers, and professionals to attend and present their works in oral or poster session by submitting a short abstracts for consideration. The abstracts will be peer-reviewed and the acceptance for presentation will be announced.
Conference Proceeding
The committee has established an agreement with PROCEEDING PUBLISHER to publish selected papers with particular coverage in IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science.
The proceeding series has been indexed by Scopus, Elsevier. Prospective authors are invited to submit their full paper using complated template or simple template. All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed by experts and the final decision of the selected papers will be made by the editorial team.
For papers not included in the IOP Conference Series, will be included in the Journal of Enviromental Engineering and Sustainable Technology or Journal of Innovation and Applied Technology.

Proceeding Article Processing Fee
An additional article processing fee of IDR 1.500,000 will be charged for each selected paper to be published in IOP conference proceeding series.
